1. The Bishop, Bishop Dr. G. O. Avwomakpa has just been appointed Chairman of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) The Inauguration was done January 30th, 2003.
2. Thanksgiving service in respect of the inaugueration and also God saving the Bishop from death, when an object (a motorolla walkie-talkie) dropped from a flying helicopter straight to the Bishop; Bed in his own bedroom, was held on February 16th, 2003.
